Interesting Facts

Once established, this plant needs very little water to survive - even in our 100 degree Texas heat!  Its low mounding shape and bright flowers make Skullcap a nice focal point for a xeriscape/rock garden.  Try pairing with Calylophus which has a similar shape and growth habit.  There is a version of this plant with purple flowers, which would complement the yellow Calylophus very nicely!
