Interesting Facts
Most common garden iris. Tough and easy to grow. Leaves remain green year-round. More sun equals more flowers, although plant will do ok in a partly shaded area. Remove spent flowers after spring is over, including stems and any dead foliage to keep plant looking nice through the fall and winter.
