Interesting Facts

This plant may be a slow grower, but it is a reliable bloomer and is extremely drought tolerant.  Leaves are evergreen; they turn purplish in the winter as the plant goes dormant.  There is a variety with yellow flowers available, and 'Brakelights' has bright red instead of light pink flowers.
