Interesting Facts

'New Gold' Lantana is more of a low, mounding plant than the Texas Lantana.  It is said that the leaves cause mild skin irritation, so take care to wear gloves when pruning, especially if you have sensitive skin.  'New Gold' Lantana grows well in pots although it will probably overtake any species planted in the same space.  Is a very bright, colorful plant that will spread to become very large, especially once established.
