Interesting Facts

Although the flowers, at first glance, appear similar to the Mealy Blue Sage, this plant is much larger, and the flower spires are much longer.  Flowers serve as an abundant nectar source for hummingbirds, bees and butterflies.  Is very drought tolerant once established.
